Mentored Research Program

MindstreamX Research Program

MindstreamX Mentored Research Program is for highly motivated high school students with intellectual vitality to conduct real research under the guidance of experienced mentors. For students who are very dedicated and well prepared, the goal goes beyond just gaining valuable research experience and recommendation letter from the mentor, but also publication of the research paper, and even winning award in prestigious research competition.

We have successful track record of mentoring student doing research, publishing research paper, and even winning the most prestigious science competition Regeneron STS (Science Talent Search) .

Research Counseling

The area of research needs to match the major of study the student intends for college application, so we provide counseling to the student to identify the area of research considering the student's college application holistically.

Research Methodology Bootcamp

Teachings of general research methodology, before area specific research.

Research Project

Small Group: Group of 3-6 students doing research on one project and writing the paper. This is recommended to students without any prior research experience and have limited time.

Individual: Only one student doing the research so this is very demanding on the student capability, devotion and time. For students without any research experience, this is usually not recommended as it is very challenging and small group research is easier to produce enough results for publication.
